"The truth is. All women need brothers. Sometimes women make the mistake of seeing a man and liking him and thinking this has to be sexual. Doesn't have to be. You really can use the spirituality of brotherhood and sisterhood and form something so profound that you can stand straight up on it"
- Maya Angelou
The Black Love Experience is a conglomerate of artistry and inventiveness geared towards fearless visionaries and cultural nomads featuring performance and visual artists, independent creatives, entrepreneurs, and kindred souls under the canopy of all things Black. This movement connects the vibrant, creative community through music, poetry, live art, wellness, and commerce representing Black and Brown people from across the globe. All within a kinetic, high-vibe environment, to contain it under the guise of a party, pop-up, concert, or gathering of any kind would be an understatement.
Founded by the Nubian Hueman Boutique team, a space for contemporary expressions of cultural goods and art representing the African diaspora, The Black Love Experience is a compound of the same in the form of an event. Simply put, it is a tangible, positive expression of self love and empowerment matching.
This year we are taking it even further. We are mixing our homegrown artists with creatives from around the world by including a series of compelling, and interactive artscapes, transformative workshops and panel discussions, a vendor den of top notch designers, djs, and more. From the bar to the basement, we celebrate Black. So now the question,
“Do you feel it?”
